BARDSTOWN, Ky. – Summer is the time to live the glamorous life with the Hpnotiq Glam Louder Program. This multi-platform program will feature the Bling It On! The Glam Louder program will kick off on June 1st with contest host Khloe Kardashian Odom in Beverley Hills.

The Bling It On! contest challenges entrants to submit images online of the most glamorous items for the chance to win a trip to LA with three girlfriends. While there, Hpnotiq will treat the winner and her friends to makeovers and shopping with Khloe Kardashian Odom as well as a photo shoot that could be used in a future Hpnotiq advertisement.

Burnett’s Flavored Vodka Expands Portfolio

BARDSTOWN, KY – Burnett’s Flavored Vodka has added two new flavors to one of the largest portfolios of flavored Vodkas in the industry. Beginning in spring, Burnett’s Blackberry and Tropical Fruit will be available nationally.

The new flavors for the Burnett’s franchise are on the heels of a package redesign that more effectively communicates the all-natural flavor types. The new natural flavors are traditional additions to a line of flavors grounded in relevant and approachable flavors.

BARDSTOWN, KY – O’Mara’s Irish Country Cream introduces a newly redesigned package that includes an enhanced bottle style and label design. Available this spring, the redesigned package delivers a more sophisticated and recognizable look at the shelf for O’Mara’s and better supports a brand known for its premium quality and approachable price point. 

The label redesign includes a more prominently featured O’Mara’s Irish Cream logo in a Gaelic type style – supporting the authenticity and heritage of the brand. Additionally, the O’Mara’s packaging features a picturesque landscape which captures the essence of Ireland with a scene reminiscent of O’Mara’s homeland. The new bottle is a more polished and features a unique shamrock cartouche in the shoulder of the bottle. Together, the changes elevate the status of the product and more effectively communicate quality and authenticity.

Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc. has added Chuck Summers as On-Premise National Accounts Regional Manager. In this role, Summers will be responsible for brand distribution and promotional opportunities for the Heaven Hill portfolio within key national on-premise accounts. The position reports to Carlos Lozano, On-Premise National Accounts Division Manager.

Summers has over 30 years of experience in the spirits industry. Prior to joining Heaven Hill, Summers managed On-Premise National Accounts for the Patron Spirits Company. He has also worked in on-premise national accounts with Moet Hennessy USA and Allied Domecq Co.

“Chuck brings both successful and diverse on-premise national accounts experience,” said Steve Feller, Vice President, North American Sales. “He will be a valuable addition to our On-Premise National Accounts team.”

Summers is a graduate of Youngstown State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He resides in the Dallas metro area.

The new premium High Rise Vodka is a spirited approach to Vodka grounded in a retro character regarded for its style and sophistication.

Heaven Hill Launches Cinerator Hot Cinnamon Flavored Whiskey

BARDSTOWN, Ky. – Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc. will launch Cinerator Hot Cinnamon Flavored Whiskey in May. This growing segment of the liqueur category has been stoked by consumers’ interest in all things spicy and hot. Cinerator fuses hot cinnamon flavor with the smoothness of American Whiskey in a 91.1 proof liqueur. Served as a chilled shot or mixed, the growing sub-category of spicy and hot products has set the industry aflame.

Cinerator adds a dramatic look and added kick at 91.1 proof to this highly sought after segment of liqueurs. Consumers will be drawn to the stand out look of a red hot label set ablaze by flames and packaging which is a clear and modern representation of the product attributes. In this role, Lozano will be responsible for strategically leading the On Premise National Account Channel for the nation’s largest, independent family-owned and operated supplier. Lozano possesses over 20 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry. His extensive national account background includes managing portfolios for Diageo North America and Pernod Ricard USA. Most recently, he was Director of National Accounts for Monin Gourmet Flavorings.

Company Only the Second Continuously Operated Distillery to Reach Historic Number

BARDSTOWN, Ky. – Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc., the nation’s largest independent family-owned and operated distilled spirits producer and the world’s second-largest holder of aging Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, today celebrated the filling of Bourbon barrel number 6.5 million. Heaven Hill is only the second continuously operating Bourbon producer, and the only private family-owned company, to reach the historic benchmark.

“It is indeed a proud day for our company and our extended Heaven Hill family,” said Heaven Hill Distilleries President Max L. Shapira. “We have throughout our history recognized the filling of our milestone barrels with a ceremony such as this, but the fact that it is less and less time between these occasions is a testament to the remarkable growth and popularity of Bourbon. And this has not only benefitted our company, but also Bardstown, Nelson County, and the Commonwealth in general. This occasion is made all the more special in that it is personally overseen by two generations of my family and two generations of the family of our Master Distillers, Parker and Craig Beam.”

No one could foresee the many changes and tremendous growth that lay ahead for both Heaven Hill and the Bourbon industry from when the company was founded just after Prohibition ended to their latest milestone barrel today, but the company remains true to its original mission as a family-owned and operated, independent Kentucky company—the last remaining in the Bourbon business today. Heaven Hill now has around one million aging barrels of Kentucky Bourbon in their inventory, the second most in the world, and their flagship Evan Williams brand is the second largest selling Bourbon in the United States and the world.

The 6.5 millionth barrel was “bunged off” by sixth- and seventh-generation father and son Master Distillers Parker and Craig Beam in a brief ceremony at Heaven Hill’s cistern room attended by company executives and local dignitaries. An acclamation from Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear was also presented. The barrel was then moved to Rickhouse “Y” where it will rest alongside the other Heaven Hill milestone barrels in a special display where visitors to Heaven Hill’s Bourbon Heritage Center may view them.

The 18th Annual Edition of the Award-Winning Vintage-Dated Bourbon Now Available

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The newest vintage of Evan Williams Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the 2003 edition, is now available on retail shelves and at fine bars and restaurants nationwide.

Heaven Hill, the nation’s largest family-owned and operated independent spirits producer and the world’s second-largest holder of aging Bourbon, offered a sneak peak of the 18th vintage in the landmark series to spirits writers and critics nationwide, and the acclaim is resounding. Cigar Aficionado praised the “…long, sweet finish” while Whisky Advocate, in awarding it both “Value Pick” and “Editor’s Choice”, stated that the 2003 vintage is “…proof that a bourbon doesn’t have to be old, high in alcohol, or expensive to be good.”

The world-renowned Single Barrel Bourbon from 6th and 7th generation father and son Master Distillers Parker and Craig Beam has garnered many prestigious awards since it was introduced in 1994. These include “Spirit of the Year – American Whiskey” from Food & Wine Magazine; “Domestic Whiskey of the Year” from Whisky Advocate; and “Whiskey of the Year” from The Spirit Journal, the first Bourbon upon which the publication has bestowed this prestigious title.

“Even though the mashbill—the grain recipe—is the same from year to year, we try to achieve a particular flavor profile with each vintage,” noted Parker Beam. “As this is our 18th vintage in the Evan Williams Single Barrel series, we feel like we have got the process of determining the taste profile and finding barrels that meet that profile pretty much perfected. This vintage is maybe a bit softer, with barrels drawn mostly from the middle floors of three of our best ventilated rickhouses.”

As with the previous 17 vintages, which are now highly sought after collector’s items, each bottle of the 2003 edition of Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Bourbon is marked with the exact date that it was placed in oak and bottled, in addition to the exact serial number of the single barrel from which it was drawn.

The 86.6 proof Bourbon is matured in natural open-rick warehouses under the careful supervision of Heaven Hill’s father and son Master Distillers, who monitor the progress of each year’s vintage to ensure it maintains its intended flavor profile and superb quality. The 2003 Vintage is available nationally at an average retail price of $25.99 for a 750 ml bottle, making it a multiple “Best Buy” award winner as well.
