Heaven Hill Distilleries Unveils New Fleet Graphics Promoting Evan Williams Bourbon

Country’s second leading-selling Bourbon to be advertised on “moving billboards” throughout country.

BARDSTOWN, KY—Evan Williams Bourbon, second largest-selling brand of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in the US, is reinforcing its far-reaching marketing efforts with the introduction of high-impact branded truck fleet graphics. Evan Williams is the flagship label of Bardstown, Kentucky-based Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc., and has for the past five years leveraged the brand’s hallmark extra-aging to create a powerful multi-million dollar campaign involving advertising, web activity, consumer promotions, point of sale displays, and sponsorship of one of the nation’s top professional bass anglers, Jason Quinn. Now with the addition of the new trailer graphics, Heaven Hill can take advantage of the high visibility of their dedicated fleet of trucks that transports Evan Williams and other leading brands across the nation.

The bright and striking truck graphics wrap the 53-foot trailers with artwork that includes a large horizontal bottle, the Evan Williams logotype, an appetizing “Bourbon over Ice” drink, and the brand website www.evanwilliams.com. The back door panels of the trailers are adorned with a vertical bottle image, along with the brand’s “Extra Aged” seal and the tagline “Aged Longer to Taste Smoother.” The graphics employ the latest technology, utilizing an ink-jet four color 2 millimeter laminate film with high-level ultraviolet protection, and a seven year guarantee of quality. Each trailer uses over 100 yards of laminate material, enough to cover a football field.

The new trailers will ply the roads and highways across the country, logging an average of 115,000 miles per year across the fleet, while providing millions of consumer impressions. Susan Wahl, Evan Williams Brand Manager at Heaven Hill, stated that “these new truck graphics allow us to take fuller advantage of our dedicated fleet, which means that we can better leverage our national distribution network to further drive home the Evan Williams branded messaging among consumers. It is also a real source of pride among our drivers and employees, especially as we see them driving around our headquarters and hometown of Bardstown.”

Evan Williams, the second largest selling Kentucky Bourbon, is aged longer than competitors at its price point and that point of differentiation is the centerpiece of the brand’s multi-media marketing efforts, which is embodied by the tagline “Aged longer to Taste Smoother.”
