Meet Heaven Hill’s New Plant Leader Community
“We’re excited to share that Chief Production Officer Josh Anderson has recently created a Plant Leader Community, bringing together operations leaders from every site to form a dedicated group aimed at fostering greater support through a channel of diverse perspectives and experiences in the operations space. We believe the creation of this group will have a positive effect on operations departmental engagement survey results, in addition to the company-wide results presenting a need for more cross-site collaboration.
The new Plant Leader Community includes:
Marc Cavazos, Operations Director
Joe Ashley, Bardstown Site Director
Claude Bilodeau, Vice President and General Manager
Conor O’Driscoll, Director – Distillation & Master Distiller
Riley Henderson, SS Head of Operations
Aaron Selya, SS Director of Ops – Head Distiller
Michele Clark, VP – Widow Jane
Javier Díaz, DV General Manager
Jason Wornell, Distillery Plant Manager
Adam Ganoe, Distillery Manager
Steve Boone, Distillery Manager – Bernheim
Steven Kaplan, Contractor
The inaugural Plant Leader Community meeting was held in-person in Louisville, KY on Feb. 25-27. We got to attend and participate in how the group is unlocking the power of working together to win. It was inspiring to see them connecting dots across the production sites, asking a lot of good questions and brainstorming many innovative ideas. They officially welcomed our newest facility Heaven Hill Springs (managed by Adam Ganoe) and our newest plant manager Jason Wornell into the fold. The gathering was not just a meeting; it was a celebration of our growth and acquisitions over the years, showcasing the strength of our diverse team and portfolio.
We were delighted to see the instant friendships and camaraderie that formed among the plant leaders. This is the Heaven Hill way – fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support. The synergy was palpable and heartwarming, bringing together huge historic operations like Black Velvet and Heaven Hill Distillery with unique craft distillers like Philadelphia Distilling and Widow Jane, so they can learn and grow together.
The Plant Leader Community is just getting started: They will meet virtually regularly and will be coming back together in Austin, TX this September. We look forward to continuing the momentum and building on the strong foundation we have established. This group is another way we’re continuing to create a thriving, vibrant, collaborative community that will Raise the Bar for all of Heaven Hill Brands.”
