On Wednesday, January 23, our team at Black Velvet gathered in their new training area for a well-deserved pizza lunch, not just to enjoy great food, but to celebrate an important milestone: the results of the recent COR audit. And what better way to celebrate than with some delicious pizza from a local favorite—supporting the community one slice at a time!

As everyone dug into their pizza, Black Velvet’s Environmental Health and Safety Manager walked through the audit results, and the team was excited to hear the great news: an impressive 94% score! This is a major achievement, reflecting the commitment and hard work Black Velvet has put into making safety a top priority every day.

Here are just a few of the standout highlights from the audit:

• Clear Communication of Health and Safety Policies: Black Velvet employees not only understand the health and safety policies but are also actively engaged in ensuring they are followed across the board.
