Embrace the Spirit of Thanks this November
Did you know? Science has proven that “giving, receiving, and even witnessing gratitude can improve your well-being.”
That’s why our Culture team is launching “Spirit of Thanks” this November. It’s a month-long initiative where we’re asking you to go above and beyond to recognize your co-workers near and far.
Participating in this initiative is as simple as increasing your usage of the CHEERS! platform. Haven’t ever used it before? Give it a try this month! Usually submit a CHEERS! once a month? Test out using it weekly!
Not only has science proven that giving thanks is effective and beneficial for givers, receivers and witnesses of it, but gratitude through CHEERS! helps us bring the Spirited Commitment to life across Heaven Hill Brands. Simply put, it’s a win, win, win!
Since the launch of the CHEERS! platform in March, 374 different Heaven Hill Brands employees have utilized the tool. That’s so many of you and now’s the time to keep up the great work! That number also means there is even more opportunity to participate.
So, in the Spirit of Thanks, keep your eyes peeled for reminders about this initiative (hint: there may be a challenge or two involved!) and let us know if you think of other creative ways to show your appreciation throughout November by commenting below.

What is the Culture Team?
The Culture team was introduced briefly this August as a continuation of Heaven Hill’s strategic plan to Raise the Bar, with the Spirited Commitment as its firm foundation. With executive sponsors Co-Presidents Kate and Allan Latts, members of the culture team are currently working to build a yearly plan of engaging initiatives that will help further the lasting impact of the Spirited Commitment throughout the business.
