Say Hello to Sami Dada, Compensation Analyst
How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?
Started June 1.
What’s inspiring you in life right now?
Seeing everyone work so hard to get the world back to normal after this pandemic.
Tell us about an organization or cause you are passionate about.
I support homeless youth causes, like the Trevor Project, which supports LGBTQ+ homeless youth and suicide prevention. When I lived in Cincinnati, I worked with an organization that works with a refugee homeless population.
Which Heaven Hill corporate value do you relate to most and why?
Teamwork, I am a people’s person and I love to get to know people. I love bouncing ideas off of others.
What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?
Touring the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience. I loved the video portion of the tour about the whole history of Heaven Hill.
What’s one thing people may not know about you?
I was born in West Africa and came to America in 2001 as a civil war refugee at five years old. Around the age of 4, my family migrated from Monrovia, Liberia to the Ivory Coast. We were in refugee camps for about six months before we came to America, settling in Pennsylvania.
What’s your favorite time of day?
Mornings – once I’m up, I’m up. I feel like I can be a lot more productive then. I like to get everything done that I need to do in the morning and during the day, so I can relax after work.
What are three things you can’t live without?
My Phone, Tacos, and Netflix.
What would you like to be remembered for?
I want to be remembered for being a positive light in people’s lives and always having a positive outlook on things even during the hardest of times.
