Say Hello to Eric Larsen, Regional Sales Manager – MA & RI
How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?
I have been with the Heaven Hill family covering off on the Deep Eddy brand for 3 ½ years.
What’s inspiring you in life right now?
Also, the positive outlook on the future. . . You can start to feel it as we get back to a sense of normalcy. It’s electric.
Tell us about an organization or cause you are passionate about.
The JDRF Foundation for Type 1 Diabetes. My daughter’s friend was diagnosed at a young age, and my wife, daughters and I fundraise and do their walk at the Yale Bowl in Connecticut every year to help fund research to find better treatments, preventions, and, ultimately, a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
Which Heaven Hill corporate value do you relate to most and why?
Teamwork. A strong corporate culture of teamwork is something that you don’t find at every organization. The teamwork, leadership and communication at all levels of Heaven Hill is what makes this company so dynamic and a great place to work.
What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?
Any time I get to be out in Austin and spend time with my counterparts in other parts of the country. The last National Sales Meeting we had prior to the world shutting down was great. I enjoyed the state fair theme equipped with carnival games. The team always puts in a tremendous amount of work to bring the NSM to life, and it shows. I have also enjoyed being a part of the sales council with Deep Eddy and seeing the ideas from the sales force come to fruition in the tactical execution of our national marketing plans.
What’s one thing people may not know about you?
I enjoy refurbishing old furniture and creating something new from something that was previously discarded. I am really getting into wood working. My next project is a custom bar for our basement that is in the midst of construction.
What’s your favorite time of day?
The moment I get my first sip of coffee.
What are three things you can’t live without?
My family, friends and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (Frozen).
What would you like to be remembered for?
Leaving it all on the table, giving everything I have for my family, friends and my job.
