Happy Holidays from the Health & Safety Department
2020 has undoubtedly been difficult for everyone. We have faced immense challenges together, and we look forward to a year we hope will look very different from 2020.
Things are already looking up as, a vaccine for COVID-19 is already in distribution. Our society is beginning to think about what life after COVID will look like. Until that time, we must remain vigilant and focused on keeping our team safe.
While news of a vaccine is exciting, COVID-19 continues to touch lives here and around the world, and we continue to see surges in some areas. The unfortunate truth is that many more people will contract COVID-19 prior to the vaccine becoming widely available. COVID-19 has already affected our team, as several employees tested positive or were in close contact with friends, family and loved ones who have tested positive. We must continue our efforts to protect our team via the Healthy three:
It has been tough, but we are starting to see the light at the end of the COVID-19 tunnel. It is going to be especially difficult with the holiday season coming soon and so many of us wanting to share time with our extended family, travel, show off the new grandkids, shop for gifts, etc. Unfortunately, this year we need to avoid gatherings with family and friends and think of other ways to enjoy this wonderful time of the year. We have recently published an article “Safe Celebrations 101: How to Safely Celebrate the Upcoming Winter Holidays”; please use this as a guide to celebrating safely, keeping yourself, your family, and our Heaven Hill team healthy. In it you will also find numerous ideas to celebrate this time of the year even from afar. Don’t forget, if you have any questions, have symptoms, or think you have been around someone who has COVID-19 call the COVID Hotline at 502-337-0878.
From the Heaven Hill Health & Safety team we want to wish everyone and your family a safe and healthy holiday season and beginning to 2021! Normalcy is coming soon but we cannot be too hasty, stay safe and healthy out there! As always, our team is here for you, never hesitate to reach out for assistance!
Happy Holidays,
Dustin Wilcher, Taylor Duncan, and Nathaniel Stephens
