Heaven Hill & Black Velvet will match up to $5,000 for selected charity 

Applications due July 28 

Each year, Heaven Hill selects one non-profit organization to be the recipient of a company-wide fundraising effort with matching funds from the company up to $5,000. Starting today, July 14, Heaven Hill will begin accepting employee applications so that their charity of choice can be considered for the project.

This year, we are excited to announce that Black Velvet Canadian Whisky will host a fundraising project benefiting a Lethbridge organization alongside the Heaven Hill project. This means that there will be two projects activating side by side during the same time frame and that two projects could be awarded matching funds up to $5,000.

Pre-organized fundraising events will be scheduled throughout the year to raise money for the selected charities. If your application is selected, you will become the champion for your charity on the philanthropy committee, working with other employees to promote turnkey fundraising events for the project.

Applications for both domestic and international organizations will be considered; however, the location of the potential beneficiary may impact the final decision. It is a project priority for funds to benefit a network in a community where many Heaven Hill employees work and live.

Heaven Hill Brands applications can be submitted in-person to the Heaven Hill Human Resources office and Black Velvet applications can be submitted in-person to Claude Bilodeau. All applications may be submitted via email to [email protected]. Application for both projects are due no later than July 28. Email applications should be submitted as a PDF with the following naming convention: Last Name,First Name_Heaven Hill OR Black Velvet Philanthropy Submission_Charity Name. Be sure to attach any corresponding flyers and information to support this request.
