Heaven Hill Continuous Improvement Manager Shawn Hughes is known for his songwriting​ and was approached to write a corporate theme song for the Heaven Hill Band to perform at last year’s National Sales Meeting. Originally meant to be a rewrite of the hit Tracy Chapman song “Give Me One Reason,” Shawn was inspired to write a brand new song about being an ambassador for Heaven Hill and the honor it is to represent this company. 

The lyrics Shawn wrote really resonate with the Heaven Hill family and perfectly illustrate what it means to be a Heaven Hill employee and ambassador. During these difficult times, it’s more important than ever that we stand together as a Heaven Hill family. That said, we thought it would be fun to get some of the Heaven Hill Band back together for a special virtual performance of “Ambassadors.” The performance features Shawn Hughes on guitar, Bernie Lubbers (National Whiskey Ambassador) on guitar, Brent Johnston (Regional Sales Manager – TX) on bass guitar and electric guitar, John Smart (Vice President of Strategic Partnerships) on drums, and Kyle Jackson (Central Texas On-Premise Area Sales Manager) singing back up and playing box drum and tambourine. Each musician recorded their performance in their own home and the respective videos were edited together to create the final product.
