After five years at Heaven Hill’s Bardstown, KY facility, Anna Gordon has become someone her teammates on second shift truly count on. Starting as a Case Packer and now working as a Bottling Utility Operator, she’s spent that time learning the bottling line from multiple angles while building strong relationships with the people around her.

Anna’s team brings together employees from different generations and walks of life, something she says she really appreciates.

“When you get along with the people you work with, it helps a whole lot,” Anna said. “If someone needs help, we help one another.”

Before their shift begins, Anna and several coworkers have developed a routine, arriving a little early to check in on what’s happening in their personal lives and set the tone for a great evening.

Looking for ways to contribute beyond her role, Anna joined the Safety Team and recently joined the facility’s Emergency Response Team (ERT), one of the accomplishments she is most proud of. Through a 40-hour training program, she gained hands-on experience in first aid and emergency response and connected with employees across different departments and shifts. Through daily work, Safety Team and ERT, Anna is known for choosing positivity when challenges arise, helping teammates support one another.

“Anna is a valuable member of the Heaven Hill team who consistently provides thoughtful insights on improving daily tasks,” said Rick Logan, Senior Bottling Supervisor. “She actively contributes as a member of both the Emergency Response Team and the Safety Committee and brings a positive attitude to work every day.”

Expanding her impact outside of operations, Anna enjoys bringing the whole Heaven Hill community together. She helped organize our 2025 Bardstown egg hunt, assisting with preparations and encouraging coworkers to take part.

“Seeing families and children enjoy the event made the extra effort worthwhile,” Anna said.

For Anna, supporting her coworkers, whether during a shift, an emergency response, or a family-friendly event, comes naturally. At Heaven Hill, those everyday moments are what we call Thriving Together.
