Announcing Our New CHRO: Tony Georges
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tony Georges as our new Chief Human Resources Officer. With an impressive background in HR management and a proven track record of fostering employee engagement and organizational development, Tony will play a pivotal role in steering our company’s human resources strategies to new heights.
Tony brings almost 33 years of extensive experience from UPS Airlines in Louisville with a strong focus on team building, human resources, and talent management as well as operations management and business process improvement. His expertise in talent acquisition and development, employee relations, performance management, organizational culture, and logistics and supply chain will be invaluable. Tony’s background and experience will allow us to build on our already strong HR foundation and continue to propel our Grow our People strategy forward.
From the beginning of the broad selection process, Tony stood out not only for his impressive qualifications but also for his genuine connection to Heaven Hill’s Spirited Commitment. He is deeply passionate about empowering employees, fostering a culture of inclusivity, and driving initiatives that promote professional growth and well-being.
Tony’s first day with Heaven Hill will be in early May. He will be based in Louisville, KY. In the interim, our HR Leadership Team will continue to move the Grow Our People strategy forward as envisioned.
Tony’s leadership will undoubtedly enhance our HR function, ensuring that we continue to attract, retain, and develop top talent while nurturing a workplace environment where every individual can thrive. He is a veteran of the United States Army and a long-term Louisville resident with a strong network within our community, serving as a past-Chair for KentuckianaWorks, Board Member for Leadership Louisville, and the Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board. He is married with two sons and currently lives in Crestwood. We look forward to welcoming Tony and learning more about him in May.
