Bardstown Roof Collapse Clean Up
Thank You For Your Teamwork
As you may know, on June 30th we experienced a roof collapse in part of the Bardstown facility near the main entrance and lobby. Luckily, no one was hurt and production was not interrupted for the long term. The collapse caused a system-wide outage affecting some technical aspects of the business including the VPN and the services it provides access to including IFS, Savanna, and Executive Viewer. Unfortunately, these are critical systems to our business continuity and quick action had to be taken. Aside from the outage, we experienced nearly a foot of water in the Bardstown facility.
We wanted to extend a huge thank you to all of the teams and individuals involved in the clean up process, ensuring business could continue quickly. The IT team was quick to action, restoring affected systems by the afternoon of June 30th. Additionally, Mary Ellen Mattingly worked diligently (while on vacation) to contact all first shift employees letting them know we would be closed the following day. Mike Sonne lead the facility shutdown and cleanup efforts, with the help of bottling and facility maintenance teams, operations leaders, and production supervisors. Finally, we would like to thank all of the Bardstown employees for their nimbleness and flexibility as we reconfigured office spaces for those who were displaced due to the damage and adjusted schedules for production employees.
