Throughout the past year, the Heaven Hill events team has done an incredible job of engaging the Heaven Hill family through employee appreciation packages. The winter package included a number of fun items including a hot chocolate kit and a custom Heaven Hill puzzle. Employees were encouraged to create a unique spiked or regular hot chocolate recipe for a chance to win a prize. Additionally, employees were encouraged to submit photos of their completed Heaven Hill puzzles to be entered in a drawing to win a prize.

Hot Chocolate Contest Winner

Nick White

We received several very impressive and delicious hot chocolate recipes. To ensure each recipes was properly assessed, we asked Lynn House to judge the competition and choose a winner. Lynn chose Nick White’s recipe, the Cocoa Borracho. 

“I thought that Nick’s cocktail was a fun and creative take on the classic hot chocolate,” said Lynn. “The flavors were in balance. It was the drink I would want to be sipping on during these blustery Chicago Weekends. I appreciated that Nick went a bit outside the box when it came to ingredients. I’m looking forward to actually being able to cheers with Nick in person.”
