​Social Distancing Snapshots

As COVID-19 progresses, it’s more important than ever to implement new and updated policies in our facilities to reflect social distancing guidelines. Our Health & Safety department has been hard at work implementing protocols and altering processes to keep our employees safe as they continue working during this time. This new series, Social Distancing Snapshots, will give you a glimpse into modifications being made throughout our production facilities to support the health and safety of our team.

Recently, the Creative Services Department (CSD) took a break from brand and package design to help the Operations Department promote social distancing. CSD created the signs below to help promote social distancing throughout all Heaven Hill production facilities.

CSD stepped out of their comfort zone to design something out of the norm during this extraordinary time. This is a great demonstration of the company’s core values of Teamwork and Nimbleness. Jaclyn Mullin​ and Tim Schoenbaechler, the designers on the project had this to say about the experience:

It is certainly different creating messaging around COVID-19. There is a tone there that relates more toward civic duty. While Heaven Hill Brands allows creativity to hit the demographic in leisurely lifestyle way, we are switching gears to a more strict and united front. The goal is to reinforce that we are together in these efforts and must continue that for family and country.​ – Jaclyn Mullin, Freelance Graphic Designer

When working on a typical job for our brands I’m mostly concerned with the most effective way to get our message across. When working on the social distancing posters for the production plants, it wasn’t all that different. While the messaging and graphics might have been different on this job, the objective was the same. We all have to do our part in helping minimize the spread of this pandemic, and hopefully these posters are a good reminder of how we can do that. – Tim Schoenbaechler, Senior Graphic Designer
