Heaven Hill Distillery Presented with Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association Civilian Support Award

On Wednesday, Nelson County Sheriff Ramon Pineroa presented Heaven Hill Distillery with the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association Civilian Support Award for the company’s work producing and donating hand sanitizer during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association Civilian Support Award is presented each year to an individual or organization that has gone above and beyond to support their local community.

According to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, one year ago agencies across the Commonwealth picked up hand sanitizer donations from the Nelson County Fairgrounds. Eighty-five of the 120 Sheriff’s Offices in the state benefited from this donation.

Several Heaven Hill employees and Union representatives were in attendance for the award presentation, but many people across the Bardstown plant and other Heaven Hill locations played a role in producing hand sanitizer. Thank you to everyone involved in this effort allowing Heaven Hill to support our local communities in this time of need.
