Heaven Hill Donates $5,000 to Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History in Bardstown
Heaven Hill donated $5,000 to the Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History in Bardstown during the Bardstown Nelson Chamber of Commerce Connect event at the museum last night. Chamber Connect events give members a place to network with other business members, as well as learn about all that the sponsors’ businesses have to offer.
Heaven Hill has been a long-time sponsor of both the Chamber and the museum, which displays a 50-year collection of rare artifacts and documents concerning the American Whiskey industry, dating from pre-Colonial days to post-Prohibition years.
Antique bottles, medicinal whiskey bottles, unique advertising art, novelty Whiskey containers, among other artifacts, adorn the exhibits of the museum and pay homage to Kentucky’s signature industry.
We’re proud to support this important attraction and the Bardstown community through Community Outreach. We encourage team members to visit and support the museum, especially during the holidays, as our Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience team has decorated the historical building again this year.
