Our primary focus is always promoting both the physical and mental wellness of our employees – especially during times like these. We strive to provide the most helpful and useful resources for you to utilize. Though in-person doctor appointments are once again permitted in many areas, some people may not feel comfortable visiting a doctor’s office at this time. In some circumstances, wait times for appointments may also be much longer than employees are able to wait. For these instances, Heaven Hill offers a telehealth option to those employees utilizing Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield medical benefits.
Anthem’s Telehealth Provider, LiveHealth Online is a safe and efficient way for members to receive medical guidance (COVID-19 related or otherwise) from the comfort of their own home using a smartphone, tablet, or computer with webcam. LiveHealth Online is easy to use and for the next 30 days Heaven Hill will continue to waive employee co-pays for both LiveHealth Online visits and provider telehealth visits.
How Does it Work?
Employees wishing to schedule an appointment through LiveHealth Online can click here to create a free account using their insurance information. Employees may also download the free LiveHealth Online App using the Apple App Store or Google Play for easy access to virtual care.
LiveHealth offers virtual Medical treatment, available 24/7 through employees’ choice of qualified board-certified physicians trained to perform online visits. Simply login using a smartphone, tablet or computer, choose a qualified doctor for the visit, and get advice, treatment options, and prescriptions if needed on the very same day.
Scheduling Appointments for Kids
Employees may use LiveHealth to schedule an appointment for their child as well. To have a visit for a child, employees need to create a personal account first and add any children under the age of 18 to their profile when prompted. When the visit starts, employees will be asked who the visit is for — from the drop down select the child as the patient for the visit. Any individuals over the age of 18 must have their own account with unique email address, due to privacy and security requirements mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA).
Coverage & Other Benefits
Medical video visits using LiveHealth Online are a covered benefit for most Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, Empire Blue Cross and Empire Blue Cross Blue and Shield health plans. If employees have a health plan from one of these insurers then the doctors they see using LiveHealth Online are in-network providers.
Heaven Hill also offers access to a 24/7 Nurseline through which employees can speak to a registered nurse about health concerns with no cost to the participant. The phone number to access this care is located on the back of employees’ insurance cards, but is included here for convenience (800) 337-4770. Employees can access this care at any time, whether they are sick or not and the nurse can help decide if a doctor visit is necessary and recommend where to go if their regular doctor is not available.
