Heaven Hill Summer Internship Kicks Off!
The Heaven Hill Summer Internship Program has officially started! As of Monday, June 5th, students from all over the country will be participating in a nine-week program where they get the opportunity to learn from our wonderful employees at Heaven Hill. This year there are about 20 interns in a variety of departments including human resources, communications, finance, IT, creative services, health and safety, legal, and marketing. Most of the interns are based out of Louisville, KY in the Hanover office. Last year was the first official year for the summer internship program, but before that interns were brought on depending on the needs of the department.
Over the course of the summer the interns will have the opportunity to attend lunch & learns, facility tours, attend department meetings, talk with the executive team, and much more. These events will provide the interns an opportunity to learn about the unique history of Heaven Hill and the brands that we work with.
“I think I’m most excited for the Facility Tour Day. It’s one thing to learn about Heaven Hill through HH 101 (shoutout to Jacob for facilitating!) but seeing the business in action brings a whole new perspective,” Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition Staci Fountain said.
The interns’ first day was filled with fun opportunities to welcome them to the Heaven Hill team. Starting with a welcome breakfast, interns and Hanover team members had an opportunity to meet and enjoy a meal together. During the day the interns took professional headshots and learned a little more about the different departments located at the Hanover office. After the workday, interns and their managers were invited to Top Golf for a chance to get to know each other better over appetizers and some friendly competition.
