The West End School, one of our Spirited Neighbor community partners in Louisville, KY, recently broke ground on a new building that will expand enrollment to include girls attending kindergarten through eighth grade beginning fall of 2025. This $11 million dollar project is taking the West End community to new heights helping to provide more members of the community with educational opportunities. This school is located in West Louisville and supports students who reside in California neighborhood where our Bernheim Distillery operates.

Through the Spirited Neighbor initiative, Heaven Hill has committed to investing $250,000 over five years in critical partners, including West End School, with a mission to uplift the California neighborhood.

In order to raise more money for their efforts, West End School has launched The Ultimate Bourbon Raffle in hopes of securing the remaining $1.3 Million needed for the project. To support our community partner, Heaven Hill hosted the bourbon raffle announcement on April 24 at Evan Williams Bourbon Experience with a special appearance made by Director, Distillation & Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll. Along with other distilleries, Heaven Hill has donated premium bourbon and experiences that will be raffled off at $100 tickets for a chance to win and support this great cause. 

About the West End School 

The West End Schools has been serving boys from kindergarten through eighth grade since 2005. They are now adding an $11 million edition for girls from kindergarten to eighth grade to be afforded the same educational opportunities. This project also includes an addition of the “West End School Park” for the children to play.
