Last week, Heaven Hill Brands attended the Whisky Magazine Awards America 2023 Gala Dinner at The Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY. This event takes place each year to unveil the American regional winners in the Icons of Whisky, which commend people and places, and the World Whiskies Awards, which award products.

Heaven Hill was nominated for several awards pertaining to our outstanding brands, people and distilleries. We are proud to say that of all the awards we were nominated for, Heaven Hill received recognition in every category.

Elijah Craig Barrel Proof took home not one, but two awards, claiming the title for the BEST Kentucky Small Batch Bourbon and the WORLD’S BEST Small Batch Bourbon. “Elijah Craig is having some of its best months to date,” Group Product Director Max Stefka said. “Recording its most depletions in a single month ever in December 2022, being named the Official Bourbon of AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and now taking home these incredible awards, we are proud to celebrate each and every accomplishment… And the best is surely yet to come!”

National Spirits Specialist and Portfolio Mixologist Lynn House continues to achieve great heights among the spirits industry. Lynn was named American Whisky Brand Ambassador of the Year! We couldn’t be prouder of how she represents Heaven Hill across the nation.

Distillery Manager/Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll received the honor of being Highly Commended in the Master Distiller/Blender category. His drive, passion and dedication to making high quality spirits never ceases to amaze us.

Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel Jessica Pendergrass and Director of Environment and Sustainability Rachel Nally also made an appearance, accepting the honorable and coveted award: Sustainable Distillery of the Year! These two and their teams work tirelessly to ensure that Heaven Hill Brands holds its production and distilling to the highest environmental standards and the world is taking notice.

And finally, we are proud to announce that this year, we took home “the most coveted Icons of Whisky award.” Heaven Hill Distillery was named Distiller of the Year! Co-Presidents Kate and Allan Latts took the stage to accept the award and were greeted with a standing ovation from the room to cap off the night.
