How Edgar Falcon Built Career and Community at the Deep Eddy Vodka Distillery

For the past 12 years, Edgar Falcon has grown alongside the Deep Eddy Vodka brand. What began as one role has become a career built through unexpected opportunities and a passion for helping others succeed.

When Edgar joined the Buda, TX distillery in 2014, acquired one year later by Heaven Hill Brands, he had no way of knowing where his career would lead. As new chances to develop arose, he stepped into them, moving from bottling to processing, then into leadership roles before becoming Bottling and Processing Supervisor in 2025. Along the way, he gained a broad understanding of the operation, but just as importantly, he built relationships with the people behind each bottle of Deep Eddy.

Those relationships have kept Edgar motivated over the years.

“The people here are like family,” he said. “Everybody knows everybody. When you come in, people ask how you’re doing and what’s going on outside of work. That’s what I love about Deep Eddy.”

That sense of community has shaped the kind of leader Edgar strives to be. Training new team members has become one of the most rewarding parts of his job. He takes pride in watching employees gain confidence, grow their skills and move into leadership roles or new opportunities throughout the distillery. Seeing others build careers of their own is one of the accomplishments he values most.

Looking back, Edgar doesn’t define his career by the titles he’s held. Instead, he sees it as a series of opportunities to learn something new, support his Deep Eddy teammates and continue growing alongside the broader Heaven Hill Brands community. More than a decade after joining the team, he continues to encourage others to do the same, exemplifying thriving together every day.
