Introducing Heaven Hill’s Community Relations Framework
Since our founding in 1935, Heaven Hill Brands has served the communities in which we live and work through charitable giving. Our philosophy as a good neighbor is important to us. We do our best to touch the lives of our team members and their families by supporting organizations that meet the needs of those communities globally.
Prior to establishing a dedicated corporate giving mission, Heaven Hill also had a long-standing history of supporting local organizations including Kentucky Science Center, The Louisville Zoo, Speed Art Museum, Guthrie Opportunity Center, Dare to Care Food Bank, Fund for the Arts, and the United Way Tri-County and Lethbridge.
For the past five years, Heaven Hill has been working to build a community relations framework to support our dedication to charitable giving through relationship-building, charitable giving, and community involvement. Our official charitable giving corporate mission is to improve the local communities in which our employees work and live, offering charitable support for education, cultural enrichment, and health and well-being.
Community Relations Focus Areas
So how is Heaven Hill working toward achieving this vision within our local communities? We have established the three focus areas listed below to help guide our efforts within our local communities:
Education:
Resources that go directly to support traditional academic initiatives, including scholarships, student or educator cost of living, supplies, teacher support, educational programs, and institutional growth.
Cultural Enrichment:
Resources that go directly to support the community’s cultural growth including the arts, environment, professional development, community and social events.
Health and Well-being:
Resources that go directly to support community health initiatives including nutrition, wellness screenings and shots, physical activity, prenatal and geriatric care, psychological counseling, substance abuse, and medical charitable organizations.
Heaven Hill uses these focus areas as a guideline for the kind of charitable support we offer throughout our local communities.
