Join Us for Elijah Craig Old Fashioned Week: October 15 – 24

It’s almost that time of year again – the second annual Elijah Craig Old Fashioned Week kicks off next Friday! This event in partnership with PUNCH is a ten-day celebration designed to raise a glass to the time-honored cocktail while raising money for the Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation (RWCF), an organization dedicated to uplifting the hospitality industry.  From October 15-24, discerning imbibers are invited to toast their favorite Elijah Craig Old Fashioned while enjoying signature programming that highlights the quality and expert craftsmanship of the award-winning Bourbon.

Supporting Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation

Elijah Craig Old Fashioned Week launched in 2020 to provide relief for our partners in the hospitality industry during an especially challenging time, ultimately raising $100,000 for the RWCF. This year, understanding that the industry is still deeply in need of support, Elijah Craig has pledged to donate up to an additional $100,000 for the cause. To meet this goal, Elijah Craig will donate $5 for each photo of an Elijah Craig Old Fashioned that’s uploaded to Instagram using the hashtag #oldfashionedweek and tagging @elijahcraig. Those who post will be automatically entered into the Old Fashioned Week Sweepstakes which will select 500 winners at-random to receive an Elijah Craig Home Bar Kit (featuring Elijah Craig merchandise for creating the perfect at-home cocktail). The brand will also donate $1 for every online sweepstakes registration for the Elijah Craig Home Bar Kit. The Old Fashioned Week Sweepstakes photo contest and online registration began September 1, 2021 via social media and www.oldfashionedweek.com.

Participate in Old Fashioned Week

During Old Fashioned Week, Elijah Craig is rolling out a variety of in-person events across the United States to bring participants together — safely — to rekindle the magic of a good time shared over an Old Fashioned. Participating bars and restaurants will feature a riff (or two, or three…) of a unique Elijah Craig Old Fashioned for guests to enjoy and partake in the festivities. Find a participating bar in your area using the “Find a Bar” feature on the Old Fashioned Week website and even build your itinerary to help you celebrate OFW. Off-Premise you will see bar cart displays co-merchandised with the ingredients needed to make the Old Fashioned and POS promoting the sweepstakes to win the home bar kit.

Additionally, the brand is running ads on social media to promote OFW and the Find a Bar feature, which you can preview below.
