As someone who spends a lot of time in their car to commute to and from work, use this time to regain some self-reflection. I ride in complete silence, which allows me time to reflect on work, health, personal life and many other daily issues. As someone who is faced with many face to face encounters all day, every day, this allows me to have “me” time.

My favorite new health recipe: Corn, Carrot, and Raisin Salad. This health recipe is so easy to make and it’s delicious too! For me, I doubled the dressing amount, did half of the parsley amount, and added an 1/8 tsp. of ground white pepper. Happy Eating Team!!!

Sydney keeps things so simple – Her workouts have so much variety and her programs are high quality and FREE! The accessibility of her workouts got me into weight training and it’s changed my workout routine for the better.

Cottage cheese as a protein boost in almost everything. My favorite quick dinner is scrambled eggs made with three eggs and a 1/3 cup of cottage cheese. I then top with salsa, guac and a Greek yogurt. Quick, yummy and healthy.

Meal Prep – half the battle is balancing your diet. Balanced nutrition is key to a healthy lifestyle! This allows you to plan properly for the week so you are not snacking or running into a “fast” meal situation. You’re meals will already be made and ready to pop in the microwave or oven. This is not only a time saver but removes the chance of overeating.
Culture Champions Walking Challenge Kicks Off the Year with Wellness
From January 26 to February 1, our Culture Champions hosted a week-long walking challenge on Strava, encouraging team members to get moving, connect with coworkers, and have fun together. The challenge sparked a friendly wellness competition, with participants tracking their miles and cheering each other on throughout the week. It was a great way to stay active while building camaraderie among colleagues.
All who participated were entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of two Fitbit Charge 6 devices, generously provided by our partners at Anthem. The event brought everyone together, making it an exciting way to kick off the year!
A total of 68 team members joined us for the walking challenge, and together, they walked over 300 miles! Some participants even logged over 30 miles throughout the week. Congratulations to the winners of the two Fitbits, Luke McGuire and Kimberly McLaren! A huge thank you to everyone who took part in this week’s walking challenge – your participation made it a fantastic success!
