Louisville Bats Baseball Team to Play as Louisville Mashers for Three Games This Summer
The Louisville Bats baseball team is changing its official team name, logo and jerseys again this year for three nights to play as the Louisville Mashers.
Part of a standing partnership between Evan Williams Bourbon and the Bats, the first Mashers game was held Saturday, July 10. Future games will be held Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, September 5.
As Official Sponsor of the special July 10 game night, Evan Williams Bourbon Experience Artisanal Distiller Jodie Filiatreau will threw the first ceremonial pitch and participated in a Bats radio interview in the top of the fifth inning of that night’s game.
Our team gave away free Evan Williams coasters to the first 1,000 fans and hosted a tasting event for fans to sample a flight of four bourbons, including Evan Williams 1783, Evan Williams Black, Evan Williams Peach and Evan Williams Apple. We will also offer a different signature cocktail during each game.
The August 14 game giveaway will be Evan Williams Ice Cube Trays aside another tasting event, and the September 5 game will feature the annual Mash and Bash Night, with post-game fireworks and a tasting event, as the Bats celebrate Labor Day Eve.
For more information or to get tickets to the games, please visit the Louisville Bats Promotions page.
As the Official Bourbon of the Louisville Bats, Evan Williams is featured in-stadium back bars, along with a feature concession stand at each home game. Fans will also find Evan Williams throughout the stadium with special activations, video board signage and drink specials. The sponsorship is supported through regional online and broadcast media, including features in game week newsletters, game-day program ads, social media, and online at www.batsbaseball.com.
