Making Spirits Bright- Perry Gift Update and More!
We are blown away by how you’ve embraced the holiday season, jumping in to make Perry Elementary students’ spirits bright with overwhelming dedication! Together, we ensured that all 87 students from Perry Elementary received thoughtful and fun gifts to enjoy with their families. Teams worked together to win, jointly adopting students, taking group shopping trips, and hand delivering gifts to the school.
Our partnership with Perry Elementary began through our Spirited Neighbor initiative in West Louisville, where our Bernheim distillery is located. Supporting Perry through the school’s angel tree outreach program was one way for us to continue our partnership by directly impacting the lives of students and their families, while fostering a Spirit of Giving amongst our team, and WOW, you went above and beyond to achieve this call – We even had to turn some of you away!
As the festive season brings joy and warmth to Perry Elementary through gifts for students and a bonus, special lunch for teachers, our dedication to supporting and uplifting the community continues to shine brightly. We remain committed to efforts that embody what it truly means to be a Spirited Neighbor.
The Spirit of Giving is Alive in Austin, TX!
Our Heaven Hill ERGs recently compiled a range of Spirit of Giving volunteer and donation opportunities. One special opportunity that was realized during this initiative is a tradition near and dear to Team Deep Eddy. Didn’t have a chance to get involved with the Perry gift drive mentioned above? Consider purchasing or wrapping gifts with the Hays County Brown Santa Program!
Hays County Brown Santa Program
Since 2018, Deep Eddy has donated toys during the holiday season to the Hays County Brown Santa Program. Brown Santa is an organization that helps kids and families celebrate by providing toys that are wrapped and delivered by volunteers who also provide food to families.
In the past, we’ve donated toys, taken fun team pictures with Brown Santa, and assisted in loading and hauling gifts another location to be wrapped. This year, in the Spirit of Giving, team members in Texas have decided to also donate time by volunteering to wrap the toys on-site at the Deep Eddy Distillery in Buda, Texas.
