Say Hello to Jennifer Hall, Compliance Intern

What do you love most about working at Heaven Hill?

I love the culture and community. Even though the pandemic has changed the dynamics of the “office atmosphere,” the connections and relationships go beyond the computer screen!

Tell us an accomplishment you are most proud of in your career.

I am most proud of the ability to remain teachable. It is an accomplishment that can never truly reach its end. Technology is always evolving. Being open to learning new tasks and how technology can improve the efficiency of work/school is important to my success. I am also proud of maintaining a 3.8 GPA while I pursue another degree in Business Management and work full time.

Looking ahead, what are some things that you’re really excited about?

I am really excited to simply see what the future holds! I know there are ample opportunities coming in 2022, and I am looking forward to exploring the possibilities!

What’s currently on your Spotify playlist?

While I work I like to listen to Yanni. While not working, I enjoy listening to every genre of music. I love the mix of math and artistry in music.

What is your all-time favorite book and why?

The Moth – it is a collection of shared stories about various topics. There is a story for almost everything, and I love that people share their experiences.

What are three things you can’t live without?

Coffee, traveling, and music.

What would you like to be remembered for?

I hope that I am remembered for the positive vibe I try to maintain. I am human, and life can become difficult. But even when the glass appears empty, it is still full — even if it’s full of space and opportunity. I hope the inspiration I share and the motivation I give ripples out into the lives of many long after I am gone.

Tell us about an organization or cause you are passionate about.

I am passionate about recovery and reform. One that is particularly dear to me is called Community Recovery. It is an organization with weekly programming that provides a community dinner, spiritual teachings, as well as mental health resources and professionally-led groups. The organization does a great job at eliminating barriers for people by providing both transportation and child care with children’s programming, so that the whole family benefits from the services.
