Say Hello to Julie Cole, Senior Brand Manager
How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?
I’ve been with Heaven Hill for a little over nine years. I started as a Brand Specialist in 2011 and have worked my way around our portfolio of brands in many roles within the Marketing Department. I now have the incredible privilege to work on the Evan Williams Family of Brands as Senior Brand Manager with an awesome team.
What’s inspiring you in life right now?
Professionally speaking, I would say everyone here at Heaven Hill. We have faced so many challenges over the course of this past year due to COVID, and we have all worked together to be nimble and adjust programming across our portfolio to keep the business moving forward. It makes me so proud to be part of the Heaven Hill Family.
Which Heaven Hill corporate value do you relate to most and why?
I would say that I relate to Teamwork the most. I’ve always been a big believer in developing positive working relationships, as those relationships motivate us to work harder and collaborate better as a team. This leads to greater success.
What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?
I have so many amazing memories from my time here at Heaven Hill, but the one that stands out the most is the 2016 Bartender of the Year Finals. This was the first year of the Bartender of the Year program, and it was such a team effort to push the competition to the finish line and award our first winner. It was a lot of hard work to get to that moment, but witnessing the awards ceremony was such a sense of accomplishment. I was so proud to be part of that program and am still proud to have been part of it today.
What’s one thing people may not know about you?
I am the youngest member of the Washington Square HOA Board. I serve as Secretary and “Peacemaker” among our senior residents.
What’s your favorite time of day?
My favorite time of day is the evening when I’m getting ready for bed. I complete my nightly beauty routine, brush my teeth and climb into bed. Some nights I read a book. Other nights I scroll my “stories”, i.e., social media and catch up on my food bloggers and celebrity gossip. It allows me to decompress from work and life’s challenges.
What are three things you can’t live without?
My cat, Blue. My phone. My sleep.
What would you like to be remembered for?
I would like to be remembered for being a good person and having a positive impact on people’s lives.
