Say Hello to Ken Kimball, Heaven Hill Quality Assurance Manager
Hello Heaven Hill, a Monthly Employee Q&A Series
How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?
Since April 2013.
What’s inspiring you in life right now?
Everyone who is coming together during these trying times and doing the right things to keep everyone healthy and working.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Stay in your comfort zone when you can but don’t be afraid to step out of it as well.
Tell us about an organization or cause you are passionate about.
Though the program has really been hurting lately, we are very involved with the kids and facilities in Bullitt East High School sports. My daughter just played four years of volleyball and my son is hoping to play some football this year.
What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?
There are many good ones but attending the Heaven Hill employee opening night at the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience before it was even open to the public was a very memorable experience.
What’s one thing people may not know about you?
I grew up and attended college in the Detroit area and officially moved to the Louisville area in 2001.
What’s your favorite time of day?
I love summer mornings before it gets too hot, and not a fan of winter at all.
What’s one ingredient you put in everything?
Cheese and more cheese.
Window or aisle seat? Why?
Window because I like to see what’s going on out there, and I can lean against it.
What’s your favorite pastime?
Watching my kids play sports is really the only pastime I’ve had time for the last several years.
