Say Hello to Lynn Hasson, Marketing Services Manager

How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?

This is my 8th week with Heaven Hill.

What’s inspiring you in life right now?

The change and positivity of coming out of the pandemic – it has inspired me to make new choices and change things in my life for the better.

Tell us about an organization or cause you are passionate about.

There are actually two that are near and dear to me: The first is JDRF. My son is a Type1 diabetic diagnosed at age 12. It has been a struggle for him and our family but with organizations like JDRF, new resources, education and the research available, we are able to use those tools to learn how to manage his diabetes and hope that they will find a cure soon. My second organization is called Grayson’s Ladder. Grayson Ledbetter was five-years-old when he was diagnosed with Alexander Disease, and Grayson’s Ladder exists to ensure kids with this disease and other forms of Leukodystrophy live long, fulfilling lives. I worked with Grayson’s grandfather at my previous job and the Ledbetter’s are an incredible family!

Which Heaven Hill corporate value do you relate to most and why?

I relate to the corporate value of Nimble the most. I am used to reacting quickly to ever-changing situations to find the best solutions and in the new role I am in with the MPS team and sourcing, it applies even more. There are many outside factors that impact the success of our team and we need to react quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines and stay within budget.

What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?

Since I have not been here very long, I would have to say my start here and the initial training that I received and the acceptance I received from everyone during my onboarding was great!

What’s one thing people may not know about you?

One thing people may not know about me is that I come from a large family – my grandmother had 15 children resulting in multiple cousins, aunts and uncles – and I am the youngest of 6 girls.

What’s your favorite time of day?

My favorite time of the day is any time that I can spend quiet time with my family. My children are older (15 (Luke) , 19 (Sarah) and 23 (John)) and we all have different schedules so when we can be together and spend quality time together, that is my favorite time of day.

What are three things you can’t live without?

My husband, my kids and my dog!

What would you like to be remembered for?

Being kind, compassionate and a good listener.
