Say Hello to Martin Kruger, West Regional Field Marketing Manager
How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?
A fun and quick 3 years and 10 months.
What’s inspiring you in life right now?
All the heroes on the front lines of the Covid pandemic, the heroes you don’t hear about on the news in their own homes during the Pandemic like moms, dads, grandparents and other family members lifting one another up during such a difficult time, including in many, the loss of life. . .
All the Black Lives Matter movement heroes, both young and old, who are forever changing the world for the better, my friends and family members who serve in the Military, my co-workers in every department at Heaven Hill, including the owners. . .
We all are still facing many challenges during a pandemic and are continuously rising to the occasion. My fiancé for her commitment to having us live a healthy lifestyle, my friend Aaron’s life. . . He passed away last week and was highly inspiring. I miss him.

Who doesn’t have time to click for a cause once a day? Well, let me introduce you to GreaterGood. I visit the site every day. Why do I visit the site every day? Well, because my favorite part of the site is that you just simply “Click to Give.” That is literally it. You click with your mouse or your laptop touchpad a specific area they have designated on the site titled “Click to Give.” One simple click each day helps feed people, supports animal rights or the environment, etc. You get to choose what you want your click to go toward.
Also, when I buy people gifts, it mostly comes from this website because it all goes back to a good cause that I believe in. GreaterGood’s goal is to effect positive change by empowering millions to benefit worthy causes through simple, online actions. I usually choose The Hunger Site portion of GreaterGood.
Which Heaven Hill corporate value do you relate to most and why?
Integrity. This one is significant to me both outside of work and at work. I am pleased that this is one of our corporate values. Treating others with dignity and respect and striving to do the right thing is vital for our business and working relationships to succeed and for humanity to thrive.
What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?
It happened at the beginning of my employment, so this is one of my very first memories. While living in Miami Beach, I was hired to cover the Southwest Division, with the position being based in Los Angeles. When we packed up all our things and started the drive from Miami Beach to Los Angeles, I received a call at the beginning of the trip from Tom Kappenman (TK). He wanted to wish me a safe trip and said that if I start to get tired and needed to rest to get a hotel, and he would take care of the charge. He wasn’t even my manager; however, he called and offered such a kind gesture. That kind of call and offer from him still means a lot to me today.
What’s one thing people may not know about you?
I absolutely love Space Science.
What’s your favorite time of day?
Any time of the day I get to walk with my fiancé, Michelle, and our Husky, Ember, to the beach. . .
What are three things you can’t live without?
My family and friends. . . my friends are my family. Also, daily meditation and music.
What would you like to be remembered for?
As someone who tried his best to treat others with compassion and respect. One Love, everyone.
