How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?
Officially, about four weeks as an employee, but have worked with members of the Heaven Hill family for the last two years as a partner.
What’s inspiring you in life right now?
Farming. It may sound like an unusual thing to list, but my husband and I are learning about Regenerative Farming and all it does for the animals and the land. There is a growing population of people/families, some with small properties, that are producing their own food from start to finish.
Tell us about an organization or cause you are passionate about.
Farm to Table. My family have been raising our own beef for years and have recently expanded to poultry for eggs and meat. We hope to eventually raise/grow most, if not all, of our food ourselves. You definitely gain a new perspective and respect for all that goes into creating that small plate of food in front of you.
Which Heaven Hill corporate value do you relate to most and why?
Teamwork – I think in most situations we are stronger together.
What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?
As I have not been with Heaven Hill long and we are in a pandemic, I guess I would say experiencing the first virtual NSM during my second week of employment will stay with me for a while. It was obvious that it was a huge production and very well put together!
What’s one thing people may not know about you?
I was a professional photographer in another life.
What’s your favorite time of day?
I enjoy the solitude of the evening after everyone has gone to bed.
What are three things you can’t live without?
My family, my dog, and Deep Eddy Vodka, of course!
What would you like to be remembered for?
Being helpful and kind.
