Say Hello to Rebecca Gross, Payroll Manager
How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?
I began my journey in February 2021.
What’s inspiring you in life right now?
I am inspired by people who are enthusiastic about their jobs and who convey their enthusiasm and good energy to me. I enjoy being around people who are passionate about what they do.
Tell us about an organization or cause you are passionate about.
I have a nephew who was diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic at the age of four years old. He is now nine and has handled his diagnosis and all the challenges it has presented like a champion. I have partnered with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to hopefully discover a cure during his lifetime.
Which Heaven Hill corporate value do you relate to most and why?
Heaven Hill has experienced a lot of grown and change in the last few years. I am committed to being Customer Focused. My customers are the employees of Heaven Hill. Processing payroll, my job affects every employee in the company on all levels. I take that responsibility very seriously and I am committed to improve our processes.
What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?
I really enjoyed my tour of the bottling facility on my first day. Tawnie Gootee was a fantastic tour guide, and I learned a lot about the facility.
What’s one thing people may not know about you?
I am an ordained minister, and I have performed two wedding ceremonies — both of which are still married.
What’s your favorite time of day?
I really love the early morning, when it is still quiet, and the whole day has endless possibilities.
What are three things you can’t live without?
Coffee for those early mornings, moisturizer because I hate having dry skin, and yoga to bring me peace of mind.
What would you like to be remembered for?
I would like people to remember me for being friendly, smiling and always willing to help answer questions or assist when needed.
