Say Hello to Reid Hafer, Group Product Director

How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?

20 Years.

What’s inspiring you in life right now?

I’m inspired by the continual evolution of our country, and the promise of a brighter future for my daughter and so many other young women. The election of Kamala Harris as the first female vice president and woman of color to serve in that office is truly inspiring. We still have a long road ahead, but I think this is an important step for our country.

Tell us about an organization or cause you are passionate about.

One nonprofit I try to give my time and resources to whenever I can is Hope Scarves. It was started by a woman who was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. Volunteers send scarves along with messages of love and support to women who are battling all kinds of cancers. Hope Scarves began here locally and has grown into an international organization, giving vital support to women in their greatest time of need.

What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?

One proud memory was working with Kate on the development and launch of PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur. For the age that I was, to have an opportunity like that, it was amazing.

Kate had the idea to develop and launch PAMA at the height of the pomegranate craze. We worked on everything from the name of the product to the packaging, to the launch materials and marketing plan. It’s especially memorable to me for the magnitude of what that project was and what it meant to the company at the time.

What’s one thing people may not know about you?

In high school, I was the Hopkinsville High School Tiger – our school mascot. And, I was voted “Most Outgoing” in my senior year.

What’s your favorite time of day?

I’m a morning person. I love my sleep, but I like to get up and get going.

What are three things you can’t live without?

My family – my tribe of five, sweet iced tea and red wine.

What would you like to be remembered for?

My passion, my dedication and my heart, which I try to bring to everything that I do. I care deeply about the people I work with, our Heaven Hill family and my work.
