Rooted in more than 250 years of tradition, Lunazul begins with 100% Blue Weber agave, grown and cared for by hand. Each plant is tended with patience until it reaches maturity, when skilled jimadors harvest the piña at its peak.
This commitment to craft traces back generations. Francisco Beckmann Sr., a seventh-generation descendant of one of the oldest tequila-producing families, founded Tierra de Agaves with a vision to create a premium tequila grounded in integrity, quality, and approachability. That vision continues today under the leadership of his son, Jorge Beckmann, who has carried forward both the tradition and the standard of excellence that define Lunazul.
Every step of the process reflects a hands-on approach. From field to bottle, each batch is carefully overseen, with Master Tequilero Francisco Quijano personally tasting to ensure consistency and quality. Even the final details are intentional, with every bottle finished at the Distillery in Tequila, MX.
Lunazul’s portfolio brings this craftsmanship to life in different ways. The Blanco is crisp and expressive, with notes of citrus and pepper that make it equally suited for sipping or cocktails. The Reposado, aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels, adds depth with smooth layers of oak and vanilla, connecting heritage from Jalisco to Kentucky in a way that feels distinctly ours.
