Supply Chain Teams Come Together for Shared Success
The recent Supply Chain Quarterly Connect brought all four teams together for an energized, in-person session focused on what’s next and who’s helping lead the way.
It marked a milestone: the first full face-to-face connect for the entire team, including remote colleagues, since George Wilson stepped into the role of Vice President of Supply Chain. While a smaller in-person session was held back in May with Kentucky-based colleagues, this gathering brought the whole group together. The team reviewed recent organizational changes, aligned on FY26 priorities, and heard financial insights directly from Co-President Allan Latts and Chief Production Officer Josh Anderson.
“The insight that Josh and Allan provided on the overall industry was definitely reassuring because we typically read and hear concerning trends, but they were able to dive deeper and show us that Heaven Hill is truly outpacing the competition in a tough environment,” states Andrew Osborne, Senior Demand Planning & Forecasting Analyst.
Team members had the opportunity to submit questions ahead of time, prompting open, candid discussions around operational improvements, what success looks like moving forward and more.
But the day wasn’t all updates and numbers—it was also about understanding people.
Shari Ammon, Learning and Development Manager, guided the group through a DISC assessment activity that had people reflecting, laughing, and thinking differently about how they show up at work. In addition, Tammy Robbeloth, Director – HRBP – IT – L&C – Operations – HHI, led a focused session on career development, reinforcing that growing our people is just as critical as hitting our targets. The day wrapped with a behind-the-scenes tour of Heaven Hill Springs—a reminder of the craftsmanship at the core of what we do.
“What really stood out to me was seeing our people grow and be recognized with promotions, while also taking time to learn more about ourselves and each other through the DISC assessment. Pairing that with the business update gave us a clear view of where we’re headed. I left feeling proud of the individuals on this team and confident in our collective direction,” says George Wilson, VP Supply Chain.
The biggest takeaway? A renewed sense of connection across functions, sharper clarity on team priorities, and a deeper understanding of how to work better together.
“What stood out to me was the strength and support of this team as a whole. To see the joy amongst team members for the promotion of their colleagues is something special. A rising tide lifts all boats and this was evident throughout our entire time together.” – Kevin Andrew, Director, Customer Service and Data Integrity
