This #ThrivingTogether Thursday, we’re raising a glass in honor of a true Heaven Hill legend: Randy Strand. Randy will be entering into his well-earned retirement in August, so today, we’re reflecting on the spirit he’s brought to Heaven Hill Brands for over a decade—one that’s defined by connection, loyalty and a “can-do” attitude.

Randy joined Heaven Hill in July of 2013 as a Regional Manager for Indiana, bringing with him a wealth of industry knowledge earned through years with distributors in Georgia and South Carolina, as well as Seagram’s, Brown-Forman and Moët Hennessy. It was that rare, well-rounded experience—supplier, distributor, leader—that made Randy such a natural fit for our culture. By 2016, he had stepped into the role of AVP Sales for the North Central region, where he’s been a cornerstone ever since.

But titles only tell part of the story.

To know Randy is to know someone who leads with authenticity and acts with integrity. He’s the person you can count on at 3 a.m.—no questions asked. He’s the mentor who always made time for a call. The friend who lifts everyone around him. And yes, the guy who’ll cook up a great meal, pour a round, and make sure everyone’s laughing by dessert.

As Randy heads into retirement, likely from a lake house deck, golf club + Elijah Craig in hand, with his beloved wife Libby, kids and grandkids nearby—we know his presence will remain woven into the fabric of our culture. He’s left our organization stronger, more connected, and ready for the next chapter.
