Vodka is for… Pickleball! And More:

As part of Deep Eddy Vodka (DEV)’s “Vodka is for fun” campaign, Deep Eddy is partnering with the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA). In other words, Vodka is also for… Pickleball! The sport continues to increase in popularity across the United States and beyond, making this the perfect time for DEV to make a play in the space.

“Pickleball is not only getting attention today as the fastest growing sport in the U.S, but also because of its fun, approachable, serious, but not too serious positioning, and that is exactly what we care about when it comes to Deep Eddy Vodka,” Vice President Deep Eddy Vodka Hannah Venhoff said. “With a mission to bring people together for carefree, good times and bring the fun back to the vodka category, this alignment and partnership is perfect for us. We’re thrilled to partner with the PPA Tour and be a part of all the ways they are making memorable experiences for players and fans alike.”

Through the PPA partnership, DEV will be featured in a variety of ways throughout upcoming PPA tournaments and media. The Deep Eddy logo will be found on court signage, winner podiums and more. Hospitality event tents will allow attendees to sample a variety of unique and fun pickleball-branded Deep Eddy cocktails that include clever plays on common pickleball terminology. Deep Eddy will also show up across broadcast streaming of PPA Tournaments on CBS, CBS Sports and ESPN.

During pickleball season, the brand will also host late-night, in-person special events at the tournaments called “Deep Eddy After Dark.” Show hosts will discuss pickleball tournament and match highlights and player journeys: Viewers will be encouraged to enjoy one of their favorite Deep Eddy products responsibly while they watch.

The Professional Pickleball Association

The Professional Pickleball Association was founded in 2018 and is one of the governing bodies that oversees professional growth in pickleball. They created a platform for professional pickleball players to show off their skills. The PPA currently hosts 25 tournaments in over 14 states that anyone, at any level, can sign up for. The PPA hosts a range of player levels from beginner to advanced, reaching a wider audience of players and viewers!

The fun doesn’t stop at pickleball – Deep Eddy kicked off the “Vodka is for fun” campaign last year and it has been a huge hit! The campaign is emphasized predominantly on social media but includes other aspects like this new partnership as well as a flavor-themed playlist and the brand’s first-ever V.O.D.K.A Conference.
