Battle of the Baskets 2019
As a part of the 2019 Annual Philanthropy Project for the Coalition for the Homeless, Louisville, November was the ‘Battle of the Baskets’ month. Several departments entered themed baskets into the contest competing to see which one will raise the most money for the Project. Employees then had the opportunity to purchase tickets for a chance to win the baskets. Below is the list of individual basket winners:
- Field of Gifts: Katie Gaffney
- Date Night: Debbie Hurst
- Night on the Ville: Vanessa Edelen
- Floatin’ the River: Jenny Lyvers
- Snowed In: Frank Culver
- Let’s Get Cozy: Lee Brahm
- Around the World: Carlene Phillips
- Bar Cart: Dawn Nalley
- Cozy Cookin’: Robbie Mattingly
- Bowl of Mixed Greens: Brook Drury
- Suds in a Bucket: Andy Embry
- Louisville Museum Row & Other Attractions Experience: Debbie Hurst
Winners must pick up their baskets in the Human Resources office in Bardstown. If a winner is from out of town, they can coordinate with Human Resources to have the basket shipped. However, some baskets, depending on size, will be excluded from shipping.
The Battle of the Baskets contest raised a grand total of $4,497, bringing our current total dollars raised for the 2019 Annual Philanthropy Project to over $9,000 before the company match. Thanks to everyone who has donated thus far, but there’s still time to make a difference for Coalition of the Homeless, Louisville!
