​​Social Distancing Snapshots​

Now that you have seen some of the work the Creative Services Department (CSD) is doing to help us implement social distancing on site, let’s look at some other ways we’re keeping our team safe during this time. The Coronavirus Response Team has been hard at work implementing protocols throughout facilities to ensure the health and safety of our team. While these efforts are ever evolving as COVID-19 progresses, below is a list of the changes we’re making throughout all Heaven Hill production facilities to promote social distancing and a healthy work environment: 

• Cleaning efforts have been increased across all facilities.   
• Poly shield barriers have been installed on numerous bottling lines where maintaining 6 feet from other employees was not feasible.  
• Various administrative controls have been implemented to ensure proper social distancing protocols:  

– Chairs and tables have been removed from break rooms.  

– Conference rooms have been converted to additional break rooms.  

– Markers have been placed at 6 foot intervals at clock-in stations.  

– Lunch/break times have been staggered to ensure high density areas have the capacity to maintain Social Distancing protocols.  

– Shift start/end times have been staggered to ensure clock-in stations to not get overwhelmed.  

• Additional hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed at frequently touched surfaces/objects (clock-in stations, doorways, etc.).  
• Social Distancing posters have been hung in break rooms to provide additional information.  
• Management and supervisors will conduct periodic walkthroughs to ensure that all appropriate measures have been taken, are maintained, and look for additional opportunities for improvement.  
• Additional cleaning materials have been made available for increased sanitization opportunities.  

In addition to these efforts, our Operations Leadership Team are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of their teams. This includes completing a social distancing check list each day, promoting the utmost safety in our facilities.  

A big, heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who contributed to these efforts or is simply following social distancing protocols. These types of efforts really drive home what being the largest family-owned and operated distillery means. We are all in this together and by working together, we will get through this.
