How long have you been part of the Heaven Hill family?
It’ll be four years this Thanksgiving.
What’s inspiring you in life right now?
My girls! I have a five year old in Kindergarten and a 14 month old, who are constantly doing funny/sweet things.
Tell us about an organization or cause you are passionate about.
I’ve been a partner in Hope for St. Jude’s since my first daughter was born. This month is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and right now I’m lucky to have two healthy babies. But I cannot imagine what families are going through who get that diagnosis, and St. Jude’s helps make sure those families get the care they need for free.
Which Heaven Hill corporate value do you relate to most and why?
Nimbleness — especially over the last year and a half! We’ve adapted well to a working from home environment and in many ways made things more efficient. In my role specifically, states change their websites and procedures and even their liquor laws constantly, which, in turn, changes my duties and procedures for registrations, licenses, etc. So I’m always learning and changing with this role.
What’s your favorite Heaven Hill memory?
My first Christmas party I attended in 2018 was in Bardstown and candy themed. I’d never been to a company party so nice!
What’s one thing people may not know about you?
My husband and I own around 30 head of cattle who are calving this fall, so every other day we’ve got a new baby calf on the ground!
What’s your favorite time of day?
Mornings. Right after I drop the girls off at daycare/school, I get a few moments to myself to drink some coffee or go for a quick walk. It’s nice to clear my head and make my mental “to-do” list before starting my day.
What are three things you can’t live without?
Chocolate, Coffee, Dry Shampoo.
What would you like to be remembered for?
Being someone to count on, the person who shows up when others don’t, and someone who offers a hand, a shoulder or a listening ear.
